About Catchment Care
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Catchment Care helps families in British Columbia find licensed childcare near home, school, or work. You can search by address, city, or school and see each facility's licence type, ages served, hours, reported vacancies, and whether it takes part in the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI).
Where the data comes from
Facility information comes from the BC Data Catalogue "Child Care Map Data" dataset, used under the Open Government Licence – British Columbia. Vacancy details are reported by providers and can change quickly. Always confirm details directly with the provider and with BC child care licensing before you decide.
Who runs it
Catchment Care is operated by eliemedia, Vancouver, British Columbia. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of British Columbia, and we do not rate or endorse providers.
Sponsored listings
Providers may in future pay for optional listing upgrades, such as featured placement. Any paid placement will be clearly labelled "Sponsored". Payment never changes a facility's licensing, vacancy, or funding information.
